With a New Direction, We Begin Rolling Out This Year

It’s been a long time since we last shared an update on Run4Ben, and a lot has happened since this journey began in 2020. We’re incredibly grateful for the patience and support that has carried this project forward, and we’re excited to share what’s next.

Starting in 2026, we’ll begin rolling out the Run4Ben documentary on YouTube. The story will be released as a series of short, 5–10 minute episodes, published regularly and spanning the full arc of the project—from the very beginning to the present day. Over time, these episodes will tell the complete Run4Ben story, start to finish.

Even bigger news: we’re also launching a companion podcast, available on YouTube and major audio podcast platforms, alongside the documentary. Each documentary episode will be paired with a podcast episode that dives deeper into the story—sharing behind-the-scenes experiences, reflecting on the filmmaking process, and expanding on themes that deserve more space.

Topics will include Parkinson’s disease, caregiving and living with chronic illness, independent filmmaking and budgeting, and personal stories from both of our lives. There’s a lot to talk about, and this format gives us the room to do it thoughtfully.

While this episodic release marks a new direction, the documentary itself is still very much being made. It will continue to evolve over the coming months as the episodes are assembled. When this process is complete, we plan to release the full collection together as a complete documentary compendium.

This story has taken much longer to tell than we originally imagined. Still, we believe this approach is the most meaningful—and most contemporary—way to share it, both with longtime supporters and with a wider audience. We’re truly excited about what’s ahead.

Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for believing in this project and in us. We can’t wait to share this next chapter and hope you’ll join us for the ride—and help spread Run4Ben with anyone who might connect with the story.
